I spit in my hand and close my eyes,
every part of her body is imprinted
into the back of my eyelids.
I don’t know her name—
she only walked by.
I invite her in;
she wastes no time with formalities.
She lies down on the bed in full view.
I lie next to her,
I feel her hand slide down
to my crotch.
A moment of ecstasy.
My eyes open
to the reality of loneliness.
